| The Energy Trade Division engages in domestic sales of petroleum products and exports/
imports of Japan-originated petroleum products bound for overseas markets, as well as
the global deployment of the petroleum products logistics business covering the chartering
of ships for Japan-originated imports/exports, the supply of marine fuels, the tank leasing
business and sales of lubricants.
Against the backdrop of the overwhelmingly high market share regarding real demand in
Japan, we will pursue optimally balanced operations between exports and the domestic supply-
demand relationship.

The petroleum product trading division displays professionalism in staying keenly alert to the fluctuation of balance in petroleum product supply demand posed by politics, economy,
weather and other causes inside and outside of Japan, furthermore, offering logistics to meet customers’ needs, and taking market conditions in advance to create diversified values.
Itochu Enex acts as the core organization of the domestic and international market juncture function, collaborating with the overseas network of the Itochu Group, importing lacking
products, and exporting surplus products, contributing to optimum balance for domestic supply demand.

Ship navigation business and ship leasing
Playing a center role in shipping oil for the Itochu Group, against the backdrop of Group-developed logistics, Itochu Enex uses trading-firm-unique methods to create new values in petroleum logistics, and meeting customers’ wide-ranging needs, undertaking many tank-related projects.
Fuel oil and lubricants for vessels
Trading marine fuels within major ports around the world, handling an amount of 3 million tons per year.
Tank vessel leasing
We own and manage 2 terminals, in Etajima of the Hiroshima prefecture and in Oigawa of the Shizuoka prefecture.
