We operate an LPG wholesaling business that supplies 1,600 retailers nationwide. Working in cooperation with retail business partners, we engage in community-based business operations to supply LP gas to households and business customers throughout Japan. In addition, to streamline distribution and cut costs in transport and other business functions, we maintain business ties with other companies engaged in LP gas wholesaling. This collaboration contributes to the development of the LP gas industry in the service areas of our business partners and boosts our competitive advantage and business capabilities.

We deliver LP gas to approximately 310,000 households across Japan. In addition to supplying residential customers with LP gas, we offer solutions for more comfortable living. We provide comprehensive proposals meticulously adapted to the housing situations of individual customers, including kitchen and bathroom remodeling and the installation of residential fuel cells and photovoltaic power generation systems, new forms of energy that reduce household CO₂ emissions.

LP gas, a fuel that is both friendly to the environment and has a high thermal value, is not only used in homes. It is the fuel of choice for cooking, water heating, and space heating at many restaurants, hospitals, hotels, and other businesses and institutions and is also widely used as an industrial fuel for plant boilers, food processing, paint drying, and many other applications. The city gas business involves the production of city gas from natural gas and other raw materials and its supply to customers through gas pipelines. Nakatsu Gas delivers city gas to households and businesses that operate production plants in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture.
Natural gas, the principal raw material of city gas, is an environment-friendly energy source that emits less CO₂, NOx, and SOx during combustion than other fossil fuels. For this reason, city gas has been designated as an important energy source in the Japanese government's basic energy plan.
