| As an industrial energy expert, the Industrial Material Division sells industrial energy
such as oil, LPG, and coal; and industrial materials such as asphalt and cement to 2,500
companies in 3,500 locations throughout Japan, to customers including manufactures,
trucking firms and shipping companies. To meet diversifying customers needs, we are
focusing on enhancing and utilizing our flagship petroleum products, industrial material,
and the ability to produce new products and services. The Industrial Material Division
helps society and industry to evolve by focusing on the development of values a step ahead
of our costumers needs and providing optimized solutions. |

The Alternative Energy―primarily dimethyl ether (DME), hydrogen and biomass.We will continue to be a pioneer in the fuel-fledged dissemination of new forms of energy in partnership with such entities as other companies, organizations and municipalities. |
