Involvement with Electric Vehicles
Together with Itochu Corporation and other partners, Itochu Enex is participating in the Green Crossover Project, a low-carbon transportation system demonstration project in Tsukuba city. We are conducting a demonstration experiment aimed at making our Car-Life Stations a key part of electric vehicle recharging infrastructure.

We are also studying electric vehicle infrastructure development. For example, we invested in AEC Corporation, a company established with capital investment from 26 companies to develop an electric vehicle recharging facilities network designed to encourage use of electric vehicles in Okinawa Prefecture.
We also participate in the Conversion Working Group and EV Business Information Working Group run by the Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles, established in June 2010. Through these efforts, we are acquiring knowledge and technologies relevant to electric vehicles and developing sales and maintenance systems through which we plan to promote use of electric vehicles.
