The Japanese government launched the Challenge 25 Campaign on January 14, 2010 as a national movement to contribute to global warming prevention. The government is mobilizing people and promoting global warming prevention measures through a number of policies with the aim of protecting the natural environment in Japan and around the world and bequeathing a beautiful, healthy environment to future generations.
In response to this policy, Itochu Enex participates in the Challenge 25 Campaign, which developed out of the Team Minus 6% project as a popular movement to achieve even greater reductions in CO₂ emissions. We will promote engagement in the Six Challenges, concrete CO₂ reduction behaviors that people can practice at home and at work.
