Challenge 25
Participating in the Challenge 25 Campaign!
The Japanese government launched the Challenge 25 Campaign on January 14, 2010 as a national movement to contribute to global warming prevention. The government is mobilizing people and promoting global warming prevention measures through a number of policies with the aim of protecting the natural environment in Japan and around the world and bequeathing a beautiful, healthy environment to future generations.
In response to this policy, Itochu Enex participates in the Challenge 25 Campaign, which developed out of the Team Minus 6% project as a popular movement to achieve even greater reductions in CO2 emissions. We will promote engagement in the Six Challenges, concrete CO2 reduction behaviors that people can practice at home and at work.
The Six Challenges
- (1) Choose an environment-friendly lifestyle.
- (2) Choose energy-saving products.
- (3) Choose natural energies.
- (4) Choose environment-friendly buildings and houses.
- (5) Support activities and products that lead to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
- (6) Participate in community activities to prevent global warming.
