  • When is your fiscal year-end and when do you announce financial results?

    Our fiscal year ends March 31, but we announce financial results quarterly. Please see our IR calendar on our website for upcoming announcements. The calendar is updated regularly. If you subscribe to our IR mailing list , you can receive notifications of financial announcements almost immediately after they are made.

  • How can I access your financial data and reports?

    Financial reports can be accessed through our website on the Financial Results webpage. For financial data, please access the Financial Highlights section of our website.

  • Do you publish an Annual Report?

    Around August, we publish an Annual Report and the Enex Report, which combines a corporate profile, social and environmental report, and consolidated annual report. PDF versions of these publications, including previous years' reports, can be downloaded from the IR Materials section of our website. We provide hard copies of the publications upon request.

  • What is your basic management policy?

    The corporate philosophy of the Enex Group is "The best partner for life and society – with Energy, with the Car, with the Home." We define our business scope widely, from the energy used as a key component of social infrastructure to energy for enriching peoples' lives.
    Itochu Enex has three divisions. The Home-Life Division propse "comfortable," "affluent" and "secure" lifestyles, through delivering LP gas and electricity, and The Life & Industrial Energy Division help build a better society with diverse of energy and services to benefit local people and industry, The Power & Utility Division operates electric power-related and heat supply businesses.
    As a company providing energy solutions, we endeavor to contribute to sustainable development by continually enhancing our CSR compliance function, covering environmental consciousness, security and safety, and a range of other issues of enduring importance to us.

  • What are your financial targets and performance indices?

    The Itochu Enex Group uses ROE (Return on Equity obtained as the net profit attributable to Itochu Enex’s shareholders to total shareholders’ equity) as management indices and strives to improve asset efficiency and capital efficiency.

  • What is your basic policy on profit distribution?

    In terms of shareholder returns, we aim to maintain a consolidated dividend payout ratio of at least 30% in accord with our policy of paying stable dividends on an ongoing basis while maintaining sustained business growth.

  • What are your securities code and your share-trading lot?

    We are listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange under the securities code 8133 (stock name: ITOCHU ENEX). Our share-trading lot is 100 shares.

  • When was Itochu Enex established?

    The company was established in January 1961 through the split off of Itochu Sekiyu K.K. from its parent company ITOCHU Corporation. Please see the Company Timeline section of our website for more detailed information.

  • When was your company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange?

    We were listed on the Second Sections of the Osaka Securities Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange in February 1978. In 1979, we moved to the First Sections of both exchanges (we delisted from the Osaka Securities Exchange in 2003 and are currently listed only on the Tokyo Stock Exchange).
