I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your continued support of ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD.
Since its founding, the ITOCHU ENEX Group has continued to deliver essential energy, infrastructure, and services to customers and communities, guided by our corporate philosophy, “The Best Partner for Life and Society,” amid changing social conditions and lifestyles.
We will continue to anticipate the needs of our customers, help address social issues, and expand our businesses and services in ways that enrich people’s lives and support the creation of a sustainable society.
The Group aims to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) by more than 50% in fiscal 2030 compared with fiscal 2018 levels, and to achieve carbon neutrality by fiscal 2050. We believe that reducing environmental impact will support sustainable growth for the Group, our customers, and society. Accordingly, we will focus on providing products, services, and solutions that help advance decarbonization as one of our key priorities.
Our people will play a key role in achieving these goals. We will enhance our workplace systems and initiatives to enable women and employees with diverse backgrounds to fully contribute and succeed. We will also break down organizational silos and foster collaboration across departments, functions, and levels.
Through these efforts, we will continue to engage in dialogue with our stakeholders and work to enhance corporate value over the long term.
