ITOCHU ENEX Maintains “AA” MSCI ESG Rating
ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tomofumi Yoshida, Representative Director, President and CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU ENEX”) has received an “AA” ESG rating in the MSCI as of May 2023. MSCI ESG Ratings is a global measurement for ESG Investing provided by MSCI ESG Research. The ratings measure the ESG risks unique to the industry in which a company belongs and how appropriately those risks are managed. The ratings gauge the ESG performance of companies on a seven-level scale from the highest “AAA” rating down to the lowest “CCC” rating. ITOCHU ENEX is recognized particularly highly for its clean-tech strategy, labor management and corporate governance initiatives. ITOCHU ENEX has maintained the same rating since March 2021.
