ITOCHU ENEX CO.,LTD. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tomofumi Yoshida, Representative Director, President and CEO; hereinafter "ITOCHU ENEX") has opened ITOCHU ENEX Karuizawa LABO, a new recreational and training facility.

Since its foundation in 1961, the ITOCHU ENEX group has considered people to be its most important asset, believing that it is human resources who are central to value creation within the Group and drive sustainable corporate growth and enhancement of corporate value over the medium to long terms. The business environment is changing rapidly. To ensure continued growth and new value creation, ITOCHU ENEX believes it is important to expand and improve its educational system to a greater extent, while also leveraging the Group's overall strength. Based on this thinking, ITOCHU ENEX has opened ITOCHU ENEX Karuizawa LABO, a new facility in Karuizawa, which is one of the major highland resort areas in Japan. The purpose is to strengthen its human resources by allowing employees to learn, eat and sleep together in a place away from where they are usually based so that they can achieve personal development and feel a sense of unity.
 

The ITOCHU ENEX group will make full use of the facility designed for learning, gathering, recreational activities and training to enable its employees to experience further personal development and achieve success.
